I am a tenant and live my flat over a year. I received a phone call from Colleys Surveys to ask appiontment to survey my flat this morning. They said that my landlord gave them the instruction to do so.
The survey should take place when you buy a property for morgage purpose, why does my landlord need a survey again after he owned the property after a yr , any doggy scam or ?
please give me some advice.
thanks

get on to your LL and find out whats going on he may just be re-mortgaging.
Colleys are a very reputable firm, if that is possible amongst surveyors and valuers0 -
No scam, perhaps he's remortgaging or wants to sell the property when you leave.0

Why don't you ask the landlord? I wouldn't let someone into the flat that I didn't know without the agreement of the landlord.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
