Escorted USA Tours

Hello,

My husband and I are very eager to do an escorted tour in America. We've looked into a few companies, namely TrekAmerica (but we're not sure if we want the whole camping experience), Kuoni, Titan Hitours and Travelsphere. Are there any of these or others that people would recommend? Also, as we are still young (23 & 26), we'd like something more to cater for us and not just the older generation.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

But why not just rent a van or something and driver yourself? that way you can go to places that YOU want to see and if the place is not to your liking you can always move on ;)

I've done trekamerica - the camping is great, campsites over there are nothing like they are in this country, some even had swimming pools. But they also do Budget Lodging Tours if you don't want to camp, they've still got the age limit so you know you're going to be with people of a similar age.

I'd really recommend going yourself. Americans are really, really friendly people. I've gone on my own once a year since I was 18 and have made so many friends! Had loads of people offer to put me up, advise places to go, heck even take me themselves to some really interesting places! I think you'd get a much better feel for the "real America" as it were. If you have any questions, just ask. I've traveled relatively extensively through some of the Southern States and would definitely say they're very friendly and helpful down there...some of the attitudes can be a little alien to us, but for me that makes it all the more interesting :).
