Ideas wanted for primary kids

Hi, I'm trying to plan Christmas.
My DD is delighted with the idea of snowman soup combined with some homemade fudge for her friends.
My son, however, hasn't liked any idea so far - we did chocolate slabs last year, and sweetie boxes the year before. He doesn't like the chocolate bouquets (how can he not??!!??) and as I'd like to be vaguely organised, does anyone have any other ideas that might be suitable for home-made type gifts?
The kids are 9-11 years old, one girl and a few boys.

How about making calendars? Could do handprints or something along those lines. That way, it'll seem more personal and could be fun for them to make.0

If you haven't found anything else on this forum (may take lots of trawling!), you could try looking for some ideas in craft books in your local library. Both the adult and kids section usually have craft books with ideas of something you can make.
