landlord, delivery of new mattress

Just moved into a new place. The owners are managing the property themselves. There is a problem with the mattress and a new one needs to be delivered/old one taken away.
Landlord is saying that I need to stay in for collection. I was under the assumption that it is the managing agents (landlord in this instance) responsibility to sort this kind of stuff out.
Have had a look through contract but it is not clear.
Any advice?
(If I could stay in, I would. But delivery is 7am-midday and shockingly I'm at work).

Contact the bed company to see if you can reschedule the delivery to a more convenient time.
I presume you didn't get a say in the new mattress or where it came from. So speak to your landlord and tell them that there is no way you can be there at that time, and that you will sort out the delivery time with the bed company. If the landlord isn't happy with this, then they will have to be there. Personally I'd rather take a bit of time off work that have the landlord sitting around in my home.0
