Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help. 6 to 8 of us are wanting to holiday up near or in Fort William, looking for a log cabin or maybe a cottage. We are looking at sometime in July or August for a long weekend. We're all looking for a good price too.

Any help would be great !

Thanks Jodi x

There is a good list of options here:

Of those on the list I have only stayed in Calluna which is right in Fort William - very nice accommodation although quite a suburban location, I have walked past Corriechoille Cabins and they are in a beautiful location but a long walk from the nearest pub. :) Plenty of other nice looking ones listed on that page - haven't tried any of them though.

Or try these - 2 people in each:

If you want a really budget option try these (very basic but cheap as chips [£7.50 per person per night!!] and the pub does good food)

Take some midge repellent in July though! :) (Avon 'Skin so soft' is said to work)

Good local site for Fort William and surrounding areas. Last time I was there we took out own caravan to Glen Nevis Holidays camp site at the bottom of Ben Nevis, lovely site. If you're up for a challange you should go up Ben Nevis....absolutly fantastic!! You'll love your break away there! :)
I got food in my belly and a license for my telly
And nothing's going to bring me down
  • I'm based near fort william, try a place called Loch Leven Chalets, 4 miles down a B road with beautiful views across the water to the pap of glencoe, or Birch Brae Chalets in Onich though they're a bit more pricey! Hope you have a great time when you come up, remember the midge repellant! They'll be in full force by then (got first bite of the year on Monday!)
it's not having what you want - it's wanting what you've got
