2 people ncd on one car?

Basically we have had two cars in our household for a number of years. One for me and one for my missus. I have 8 years no claims discount and she has 6 years no claims discount.

I have now been given a company car but would like to keep my ncd.

What is the best way to do this?

I was thinking of one year having my missus as main driver on our private car and myself as named driver and the following year alternating it?

Anyone got any advice?

Thanks in advance

Yes that's what we used to do when we went from 2 cars to one. However check with your insurer as some companies only allow NCD to be valid for 6 months while others are 2 years.

You can normally get away with doing it every two years as the vast majority of companies will accept no claims bonus providing its no older than two years, there are a handful that will accept it for up to three years.
