Offered new job, start date is too soon

I went for a second interview for a £13.5k job and was told at the end that I would be offered the role but that they want me to start this Monday. I work at McDonalds and have a notice period to honour, but I don't want to turn down this job. Really it is only two days I would be missing at McDonalds because I have leave booked from Wednesday onwards which will cover the rest of my notice period - do you think that they will let these two days slide in my notice period?

Have you asked them if you can start on wednesday? It's only 2 days later so they might be ok with it.
  • Alternatively all McD can do is dock your wages for those 2 days, which vs not getting the new job if they are being really particular may be an option..?
