My shop has closed and i was under threat of redundancy but my old company offered me a new job, of which a contract has been raised and i am supposed to trial it for a month starting this monday. Since this has been going on i have found another job and i want to take the new job, i am not interested in the redundancy money as i am aware this will be null and void. What i am more interested in is HOW MUCH NOTICE do i have to give them. I have been with the company for 9 years, but i am going over to a new contract as the job has completely changed. Or can i refuse the new contract and just leave.
Please help

Your new contract would not necessarily change the amount of notice you would have to give. Follow what is in your current written particulars.but my old company offered me a new job,. . . and i am supposed to trial it for a month starting this monday. .. . ., i am not interested in the redundancy money as i am aware this will be null and void.
Not necessarily if the job with the month's trial is not actually appropriate for you.0
