Hi all

A question that keeps bothering me... flying to Sydney, OZ, on Thursday night. I keep checking on the cheap travel money search engine on moneysavingexpert but in the past few days, it's gone down almost 50AUD...not good!

My question here is, should I still change my money in London or wait and do it in OZ? Where am I likely to get a better rate?

If you know for sure what the exchange rate will be when you get there please let us all know, for what it's worth my guess is the pound will go down,
Just a guess, don't hold me to it, not my fault, I could be wrong, I wasn't even there.

I am wanting to go to Oz next year but the exchange rate is pretty bad at the moment, so may have second thoughts.

Have a search through http://www.google.com.au/ and see if you can find an australian based money exchange company like an australian travelex so you can compare the prices, or australian post office etc.

The £ has sunk to a 5 month low against the euro this week so we are probably taking a hammering again the rest of the world too
