short haul suggestions needed couple with 4 young children

We need a self catering holiday for 6 next may, a lot of apartments dont sleep 6 and when we do searches on tour operators we dont get much choice. Children are too young to have 2 rooms. Villas arec really too expensive. We found some suitable properties for rental in our chosen destination but flights are prohibitively expensive. eg 5 x flights at £260-330. This makes us think a package tour may be the thing, given a large enough room.
We want Corfu, Zante or other greek islands, near beach, pool, everything accessible as we have double buggy, fly from e mids or doncaster.

If you have any suggestions for the larger but young family (kids range from 7 to 1 year) please let us know.
