Bridesmaids dresses

Hi all
Daughter no. 2 is getting married next year and her 3 sisters will be bridesmaids (all grown up). Proper bridesmaids dresses seem very expensive and someone suggested Coast but they are not that cheap either.
We are going shopping next Tuesday to see what is out there but has anyone any suggestions
She wants Burgundy, simple and elegant and probably long. sisters are size 8 and 10
Thanks

Hi
Hopefully with all of the winter stock coming in you should be able to find some reasonably priced dresses. Most of the time stores like Debenhams, Wallis, Principles, Dorothy Perkins, Marks & Spencers etc have burgundy or claret coloured dresses in their range, especially for the winter season.
Here are a couple I found:

BHS also have 20% off anything plus free delivery if you buy from their website today so this would lower the price quite a bit. Only sizes left are sizes 8 and 10.

Other option is to try ebay. Lots of people sell groups of bridesmaid dresses and burgundy is a popular colour so hopefully you will have lots of choice. Also you could google bridesmaid dresses for sale and look on sites like preloved.co.uk which can specialise in reselling wedding clothes.
Also, if you do buy from a website remember to check if there are any discount codes which you could use to save yourself money.
Good luck - hope you get a bargain!

we found this site on line called *** .bridal-bargains.co.uk as a new user i can't put a link on to the site.
looks like fantastic prices on everything. shame the wedding dress is already bought!
tried to buy 3 bridesmaids dresses for daughters wedding but couldn't buy 3 dresses that matched - however we did buy 3 dresses in 3 different colours that all went together in colour (the site calls it a rainbow wedding)
all 3 only cost £10 each + p & p.
also might have to find a little flowergirl for the wedding now - have seen a fabulous dress on this site for £5.00. might just buy it for a party dress for my niece.
hope this helps anyone.:j0 -
Hi Pennyh
Try sexyher.co.uk.
I got my wedding dress from there and it cost less than £40 :money:!
They have lots of different colours and styles. If you order more than one with a view to choosing then returning the alternatives, just be aware that you have to let them know within 24hrs that you are returning and have to send back within 7 days I think.
Good LuckMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Keep a look out in BHS, whilst buying mine, a lady brought the same dress but in a different colour and they had knocked it down to £10 because it had a pull in it .... she was told that if any of the dresses had a pull, they automatically get reduced to £10.A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0
