What cover do you have - TPFT or Comprehensive?
Who has kept you in the dark - your own insurer or the other persons?
Were you injured?
How bad is the damage to your vehicle? Is it driveable? Have you done anything about repairs?
What do you wish to claim for?
Answer the above and we should be able to offer some guidance.0 -
agreed with matty, but also, what exactly happened in the collision?0

For the repair of your vehicle, they will only require your vehicle unless it is a total loss in which case they will need the registration document and MOT certificate (if applicable).
For any out of pocket expenses you will need documentary evidence of them (hire car invoice, wage slips etc) and "what" will vary subject to the nature of the lossesAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
