Booking holiday with Quidco

I'm thinking of booking my holiday to Florida with Virgin. Quidco give 3% cashback if you use the Virgin link through them. Has anyone else done this and how safe is it? For example, if Quidco went bust would I lose my holiday?

Quidco is a only cashback site, your booking will still be with Virgin no matter what .If anything happened to Quidco all you would lose is your cashback.

I used Quidco earlier this week to a First Choice holiday and it tracked straight away.

As Sloppy chops has advised, quidco is just a cashback/link-through website.

All your dealings will be with Virgin after the 1 click on quidco.

  • I booked flights with Virgin earlier this year via quidco and have been paid although I
have yet to take the flights as they are for December but as previous poster said the booking is with Virgin.

I spent £1400 and got 2% cahback on the fare only deducting taxes and got £22. better than nothing but not exactly a fortune either so you may want to book through an agent via quidco that is a bit more generous rather than direct
  • hi there,
I booked a fly/drive in May this year to Florida (next June) with Virgin holidays and went via Quidco first. There was no problems and they paid the discount percentage almost immediatley - can't exactly remember when but it was within 6 - 8 weeks! Like a previous post you are still actually booking the holiday with Virgin and they send you an Invoice with the full amount on - it is just Quidco that you get the discount through, so even if they went bust, as the holiday is actually through Virgin Holidays you would not be effected. Hope this answers your queery and good luck for booking!
