Dear all,
Out of interest, due to this whole credit crunch situation, what percentage of the value of a house tends to be the starting point for deposits these days?
I'd guess it would be at least 20%?

Depends on your credit history/profile, could be 5%, normally 10%+, the more the better.0

10% deposit will do the trick, but rates will be very high
15% deposit gets you slightly better rates and a wider choice of lenders
