Hi I have just started out helping with a cub/scout group and they are wanting some ideas for christmas gifts that they can make and sell at their christmas fair. I've got a few ideas but they might be a bit childish.
The group is all boys aged 10-14. Any ideas would be great. many thanks.

Why not check out this current thread... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1375877&page=79
some of the ideas will be boy friendly, I know not all but worth a look. I posted about the snowman magnets on page 78 they look great fun to make and the lads would find them easy to do. They could do a selection of them with different characters. I would do a sample of various designs or print off some christmas images eg http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.graphicsfactory.com/clip-art/image_files/image/6/647886-reindeer001_c.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.graphicsfactory.com/Clip_Art/Holidays/Christmas/reindeer001_c_143885.html&usg=__hMxxH4xjQAcJ7wdqprIJEh_MKxE=&h=300&w=258&sz=26&hl=en&start=30&tbnid=s56g2YmvQF7btM:&tbnh=116&tbnw=100&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dreindeer%2Bclip%2Bart%2Bcute%26gbv%3D2%26ndsp%3D20%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26start%3D20
Also don't forget Snowman Soup, cones available on ebay.. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=cellophane+cones&_sacat=0&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1313&_odkw=cellophane+cnes&_osacat=0

might find something here
When all else fails Food!.. how about doing a christmas cookie stall with tons of different shaped cookies/biscuits decorated. Don't forget also that Ikea sell 10 heart shaped biscuits with hole in for ribbon for 59p, I think. They could then use the small writing icing sets to write on them or decorate them I have worked in our youth club for years and the lads enjoy cooking etc as much as the girls. These can be as simple or fancy as their imagination takes them..
