Anyone know where to get the cheapest replacment line for Black & decker lawn strimmers? Models: GL 430 reflex, and GL575 strim n edge.

A lot of 'pound shops' do it as do Wilkinson's, occasionally Netto, Aldi, and Lidl. Snip a bit off and take it with you - I've seen a couple of different sizes (thickness).0

Do these cheapie ones fit ok in flymo mini-trims? The replacements I buy are nearly £5 for 10 and only cut half a small garden edge. I'm not sure if the cheap ones will fit as they don't have that plastic bit in the middle that secures it in place.Shanni0

The strimmer lines are a bit like thick fishing lines, I suspect the mini-trims are more like lollypop sticks. The full-size Flymo mowers started using these some time ago to stop people taking their toes off (which is why I'm sticking to my old metal cutter mower).0

I purchased one from wilko's for 89p and it crap, so save yourself 89p and buy from elsewhere:o0
