Conservatory Roof Blinds

Moving to a property with a glass roof conservatory. It has square and triangular windows in the roof. Are there any DIY methods for installing blinds. I've looked on a few websites but they seem expensive. Need something cheaper. Didnt want to pay more than a few hundred pounds really.

Pleated, roller or pinoleum roof blinds are crazy money. From £3k to £12k average 7 panel roof , depending who you buy from. Glass is the worst for letting the heat in unless its K shield, which is slightly better. The big issue is letting the sun through to start with. Reflective film is probably cheapest, but covering the outside with that garden screen reed or greenhouse shade material works too. (not pretty), In Europe many have a wind our awning fitted above the conservatory which works very well. Is it heat or bright like the issue. It will be winter soon, then the opposite starts....... tooo cold !
Fill the glass shapes in with Kingspan foil covered foam insulation (easy to cut from 8x4's), double sided tape and bobs you warm, cosy place.
