    While you should never invest on other peoples tips alone, there are some excellent posters on iii. I've followed the tips of some who i have got to know over a number of months and after backing up their tips with my own research, done well this year. Yell is currently getting many excited, but it, like many 'multi-baggers' is potentially higher risk than most FTSE 100s. The adage of 'never invest what you can't afford to lose' should see you right.

    I like iii too. Lately I have started looking at the shares tipped by The Share Centre in their regular emails and have bought some. I read the business pages in The Times and it seems to me that even the shares I would consider "solid" get negative comments from time to time. I have started buying shares in smallish quantities lately. The list I have in front of me right now includes BP, British Land, Weir and Babcock Intnl. but nothing there to get over excited about.
