Anyone got any interesting ideas or websites i can visit to find my friend who will be 30 in september and interesting and different gift idea??
One thing i should probably mention, is that she has suffered with ME for over a year now and had been house/bed ridden.
I was going to get her a spa day or a photo shoot package for when she gets back on her feet, but these usually have only a 12 month life, so if she is not better within a year, she will not be able to use it. My other idea was a photo album with pictures of her life so far, but her sister has taken that idea already.
I dont want to get her all the usual stuff you can get like personalised mugs or photo frames. I would like somthing a bit special
Any ideas anybody????
Thank you

I struggled to get an idea for a birthday gift for a friend, in the end I bought her a lamp/alarm, it slowly lights up the room half an hour or so before the alarm is set, give a soothing wake up. she seems pretty pleased with it.
But for a 30th you'd probably want something a little more 'memorable',0 -
I don't know how long you've been friends, but I'm planning on doing a photo album for my friend's 30th of memories we've shared over the years - we've known each other since we were 3!
You can get quirky albums now that fold out of a tin.Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
How about a spa day in her house? Get a beauty therapist to come to the house. I am sure you will find someone local to do that for you.:heart2:Mum to my little Daisy 3 and Archie 1.:heart2:0

As a little extra I made my friend chocolate muffins, iced with swirlly buttercream and then wrote her name and '30th' in contrasting chocolate on greaseproof paper, put in fridge before adding to top of cakes at an angle. It looked really effective although make lots of extra choc writing as lots break/melt. Put in cake box and wrap in big ribbon.0

Reading Stimpy27s reply - its given me an idea - there is a sweetshop near me which makes hand made sweets - they'll pack and wrap a box up of your own choice of chocs, Could get a box made up of your friends favourite kinds of sweets. There's bound to me a simular place near you.
I'm going have remember this for my friends Xmas pressie!0
