Westcot Credit Services Ltd Re Sky

I cancelled our Sky and apparently I owed them a month's subscription. I told them over the telephone (Sky) that I would pay them - no problem.

Never paid (this happened about 15 days ago) due to us changing bank etc but had it on my list to do.

Today we receive a letter from Westcot asking for the money. A phone call followed about 1/2 hour ago from Westcot.

Now, the Sky was in OH name so obiviously they were looking to speak to him (funny how Sky are happy to speak to me about the account)and after I explained that he is diffcult to get hold off due to his working hours that I would make the payment today via our joint bank account (using Visa debit) - no sorry we can't accept this from you we need to speak to Mr *******, ok then I see you can pay via Standing Order can you give me your bank details, again no can do as we need to speak to Mr *******.

Now they have to receive a letter from OH giving consent that I can pay. Jezz I'm not looking to discuss the account just pay the darn thing.

You'd think they would be happy that they are getting paid.
