JSA Question (yes another one, sorry!)

I have been told my JSA (contribution based) ran out yesterday. I went to sign in today and was given a form to change to income-based.

I start a new job in two weeks, so I won't be claiming for long, and I'm only really claiming so I can hopefully also get the back to work grant and have some money to last me until I get paid.

I'm just wondering if anybody has any advice as to what I can do if I get rejected for income-based JSA. Otherwise I won't have any any money coming in until the end of September.

Thanks

Your circumstances will dictate whether or not you are rejected for JSA(IB) - i.e. living with a partner or over £5,500 savings. I think they are the main things. No need to say that you are starting the job as the questions about work are what you have done, not what's coming up.

But if I do get rejected, am I entitled to anything?
