Hello
Can anybody tell me what the difference is in having a level term life ins policy for 25 yrs or just 5 yrs? (just an example)
I have been doing quotes and have found that a shorter policy is a few pounds cheaper pm (it all adds up
).
Are there any conciquences if you keep taking the shorter policies or if you cancel a policy before its schedualed to end?
My current insurer says i can cancel at any time.
thanks

There are 2 main problems with taking a shorter term policy.
1. You will never be as young as you are today so each time you renew they will charge a higher premuim.
2. You will never be as fit as you are today. You may find that as you get older health become a factor causing premuim increase or in fact making it impossible to get a policy.I have retired from a career in Financial Services........Thank God. Any advice given may be as a result of senile dementia so dont take it too seriously.......
