A general THANK YOU to everyone and anyone

I wanted to post this to just say thanks to anyone who has ever posted an SOA on this board. In November last year I finally decided I had to sort out our finances so I did my own SOA. I never posted it, and never will, but seeing those from other people made me want to do my own. I did, and realised that our debt was completely within our control.
DH and I had a very small amount of debt compared to some people here, but seeing how bad it could get was a huge boost to me getting control of it. I could easily have kept spending (we had the credit available), but I decided enough was enough.
Thanks again to everyone who has posted on this and other boards. DH and I had a smallish debt at the beginning of this year (a few thousand), plus an overdraft. The debt is gone and the overdraft will be gone by the end of September.
We are currently redecorating our bathroom and I am simply waiting until we've got enough money for each stage before we do it - this would have been unthinkable to me a year ago - I would have just "put it on the card".
Once again, thank you!
