Phonecalls from debt management co's

Is there anything I can do to stop phonecalls from companies trying to write off my debts or sell me an IVA (even though I only have 3k debt...). They're just automated calls so I can't tell them to stop calling. I'm getting at least one a day from two companies and it's starting to drive me mad. I'm assuming that one of the DCA's has sold on my details.

Have you tried registering with the telephone preference service. Or ask your landline provider to change your number.

I don't really want to change my number. Would the TPS still work if the companies have bought my details rather than just getting them out of the phone book (I'm ex directory).
