Holiday price question

Been pricing various holidays for next year. One thing I've noticed the last few days is that the price of one place we are considering has been gradually dropping in price over the last few days - its with First Choice . Is this normal practice and is it because availability is getting less ? We plan to book very soon so we get a free child place but might try and hang on if prices keep dropping. Anybody else noticed this ?

Holiday prices generally change daily with all holiday companies. I generally track them for a week minimum to see what it bottoms out at. I'd doubt it has anything to do with availability, if anything as they company has less holidays in a specific hotel to sell they will increase the price of that holiday.0

If it's FC, I also suggest booking over the phone (when you're happy with the online price). There is a booking fee (I think it's £15 per person), but we manage to get a bit of a discount on the holiday itself (usually around 5% of the total holiday cost) and we get insurance for half price.0

The prices would usually go up as places become more limited- if there's a demand, they can charge more.Only dead fish go with the flow...0

We recently monitored a holiday with FC and noticed the cheapest price on line is always very early in the morning,we printed them of and went into the local FC shop and got a lot better deal than on line0
