All depends on what you class as family friendly really.

A couple of years ago i went with Fred Olsen up the fjords and whilst it was predominantly older people onboard there was a creche and kids club onboard.

  • suppose i mean a non-formal cruise which wouldn;t mind having a 3 year old running around.

Most are ok, if they have kids clubs they are targetiing families.

    NCL are the most casual.

have a look at www.cruise.co.uk or the forums on www.cruisecritic.co.uk There is loads of information on these sites about all the cruise lines, plus lots of reviews. They should help you in making the right choice. We have been on Ocean Village and Royal Caribbean and both were great for kids. Royal Caribbean had the wow factor though, but more expensive for drinks and tips etc.
