This is the latest version of the xbox live starter kit, and contains the following:

12 Month Xbox Live subscription code - worth £39.99 alone. This works on the XBOX 360 and can be either added on to an existing account, or can be used to create a new account.

Xbox Live Communicator Headset - retails for almost £20 on amazon. This is designed for the original xbox, however it also works on Xbox 360 except without mute or volume control.

Project Gotham Racing 2 - retails for £9.99 - £19.99 - this is the full retail "classics" version of the game and is shrink-wrapped. This game is xbox live compatible, and should be compatible with the xbox 360 soon.

This is meant for the original Xbox, however i can confirm that the 12 month code included works with xbox 360 GOLD memberships (i.e. for online play).
