Is Land Banking a valid investment?

I want to find a way to get my 401K rolled over into something that will bring a profit. I have looked at lots of things and that is why I joined this forum to see what other options are out there. I need to get something going soon because now that I am over 50 I really need to think about my retirement in a more focused way.

Someone told me about an investment called "Land Banking" and so I did some research. Some information looks good but as always, some offer severe warnings. Wikipedia offers both sides of the story and at the bottom I found a link for one site called www LandBankingWorld com which has webinars to discuss the program. I will try and attend one and report to this forum what I found.

WHat I don't want is to get involved in another scam! In the last few years I have had an uncanny ability to find them! I just pray that if there is something someone has found that actually works, please let me know! Please please please! I don't have much to invest and I want every penny to be worthwhile.
