GYM in Liquidation, Paid by Credit Card!

Hi There

Ive recently joined a Gym and i paid my 12 months membership of £250 on my HSBC credit card in full. The Gym has now closed and appointed a liquidator. Will i be able to claim back my annual fee or part of it, from my Credit Card company. I have only been a member a couple of months and the membership covered up until June 2010!

Thanks for that, is there any particular term i will need to quote when contacting them? And what information will they require from me? Many THanks.

Just say you want to make a section 75 claim on that transaction as the gym has gone into liquidation & you're not receiving the service you've paid in advance for.
