84 yr old with a few pre existing med. conditions needs your advice.
He has the E111 card for Europe, but believes that will be sufficient.
I believe that he should have travel insurance for his 10 day trip to Spain.
He has diagnosed prostate problems, but no drugs prescribed as yet, just water controlling medication.
Can anyone recommend an insurance company????
Thanks in advance.

I would hope he has the EHIC which replaced the E111, but he would be extremely unwise to travel without proper travel insurance.
You will find some useful information (and a link to the older thread) here:

His pre-existing conditions will need to be declared and accepted by insurers/their medical screening agencies; there may or may not be an extra premium to pay in respect of this.
Is he travelling alone? If not, then all of his travelling companions should also declare his condition if they would cancel/curtail a trip as a result of him being ill.0 -

unless he has the funds to "self insure" any incidentAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
Not a personal recommendation, but I have heard good things about Saga Insurance for the over 75's as they are well versed in pre-existing medical conditions. Worth looking at at the least.0
