abbey zero card

i have just applied for an abbey zero card and at the end of the application it said 'Thank you for apply for a sandander credit card"
then gave me a reference number
it didnt say if i was excepted or not or if they would contact me:confused:
does anyone know if this means i have been excepted or not??

    Probably means it is not a "yes" or a "no" and are still considering it, will probably go to underwriters who will look at credit file more closely

    Quite often you do not get an answer there and then - keep checking your inbox as it is likely that they will email you telling you whether you have been accepted. Santander own Abbey now (as well as the Alliance & Leicester and Bradford & Bingley) hence the message from Santander.
