Any one recommend a good ebay sniping program which is free. Would prefer it to include mutiple sniping for a single item.

I haven't used one myself, but I've heard quite a few people talk about http://www.justsnipe.com/.DMP mutual support number 174Total debt now (April 10) £0! - total paid off £30,221 or 100%I'm now debt free after 6 years!!:jNon smoker since June 2006 :j0 -
Looking at justsnipe's service record for 'free members' it seems to have been having problems lately.
Five free bids a week is, however, better than AuctionStealer's three free bids per week -- but I've never had a problem with Auction Stealer's service over the years, so will stick with it.
Not sure what the OP means about multiple sniping of the same item?????0 -
try this works great - https://www.auction-sentry.com
if you do want to buy go for the deluxe version.
question why would you want to multiple snipe on 1 item?

It's rare you spmething for nothing though. If somebody offered me a free service in exchange for my eBay ID and password I'd be a little wary. Can I help?0

#5 Can't speak for any other service, but where AuctionStealer is concerned, it has been running for a long time and has thousands of users across the US and UK.
Obviously, AuctionStealer would like all its users to upgrade to the paid-for service. Equally obviously, it knows it won't get anyone to do so if its security is bad.
I know of no recorded case of anyone's eBay account being compromised because they used this particular snipe service.0 -

Auction sentry deluxe requires a 1 off payment to donwlaod the software. Its clean and easy run by the user. Its like a pinger, the software grabs your bid, lines up your ping - PC via ISP to Ebay server speed and then fires off the bid x seconds before the auction ends.
I have won a good few things with it.
Remember as an ebayer yourselves you will look at stuff that has bids on it more than stuff that has no bids.
The things with no bids get sniped and people save money.
Well it works for me, but I also bid normally.

If you are happy with a client based (rather than server based) solution, I would strongly recommend JBidWatcher http://www.jbidwatcher.com/ which does multi sniping.buggu wrote:Any one recommend a good ebay sniping program which is free. Biggest advantage is that you don't need to give your eBay authentication credentials to some (potentially dodgy) unknown company.
Possible disadvantage is if you don't leave your PC on all the time (though I can't imagine that many people ever switch their PC off).

Another vote for AuctionStealer here... https://www.auctionstealer.com0

Re Auction Sentry posts: I used to think it was one of the best-ever examples of software by a small developer, because when I signed up -- four, possibly five years ago -- the guy who ran it from a spare room in his San Francisco home would email you personally to answer any and every likely query. It was, and very probably still is, superb.
The only reason I've stopped using it is because of the need for an Auction Sentry user to be on-line at the time of auction, something which (for me at any rate!) just isn't possible when listings finish late or are timed to end on days when we know we're not going to be around. (And, er, no, we certainly don't leave our PC on all the time, or with its broadband connection open).
Horses for courses, then, and 10/10 for both AuctionStealer (if you don't want to be / can't be around for the end of an auction) and Auction Sentry (if you do).0
