Hi everyone,

after working voluntarily for nearly a year my boss has decided to take me on as shop manager, it should be sometime next week (have to see working links first) the thing is he has never taken on paid staff before. Can anyone point us in the right direction regarding what should be on payslips/holiday entitlement etc i was also told i would need a p46?? as i have been a stay at home a mom for a long time how do i get that?
I'd be working 16 hours for now, maybe full time next year.

Thank you in advance x

woot woot - knew you'd do it!

maybe he needs to contact head office for some advice. They should have a HR debt which will advise him.

You should be offered a contract of employment which will state hours worked, holiday entitlement etc.

Hi Valli, Yey at last!! lol Thank you, it is only a small charity at the moment ( just 3 shops in the north east) so there isn't a head office? We have no idea really how to go about it, i thought there may have been a gov website out there for help but i can't find anything googling it
