Bal Trans needed either to cash/bank or to partner

I could do with a Balance Transfer to either a bank account or my partners credit card, now I know I have been offered this before but cannot remember who would do it. Anyone on the forum any suggestions?

Now I must note partners card is A&L and I think therefore MBNA so that might just put the mockers on it.

The Post Office card allows you to route funds via your bank account at BT rates. Halifax card does not have this capability.

Alternatively, 0% until 1 September 2010 is available from Egg. A 3% BT fee applies.

You could still get another MBNA card, transfer the money to your bank then use it to pay the A&L card.

Old A&L cards are MBNA backed, new cards will be the Santander brand. If you don't have a Santander card, they might be interested in giving you a new card to transfer the A&L card (on the basis of you clearing it and closing it ... but you could always forget to close it).
