Best price for a week in Luxor

Hi,

I'm looking to get away for a week in early September and fancied Egypt. I like the look of Luxor as it's fairly near to some of the fantastic sights as well as spending some days relaxing by the pool.

I can travel anytime as long as I leave on or after the 1st September and am back by the 13th. A week would be fine or a few days more. B&B or above is great.

The best price I have found is £400 for B&B in Steigenberger Nile Palace which looks good flying from Manchester Aiport. I can fly from there or Liverpool.

I know I will have to arrange transport from the airport and back but apparently the hotel can arrange this for you in advance.

Is this a good price? I haven't been on holiday for so long now I don't know what I should be paying!

Any help or suggestions are much appreciated.
