A price that would (hopefully) deliver a profit that you would be happy with.

Bank shares are on a roll at the moment, and RBS announce their half year figures "in a couple of days". Is now a good time to sell and buy back?

This is another reason why shares p*ss me off. 5Bn loss announced today and the shares have risen 13% today already. Go figure...

  • HBOS made the loss, lloyds actually made a profit if I am to believe correctly.
Be happy, it's the greatest wealth :)

Ok, but doesn't Lloyds Banking Group = Lloyds + HBOS?
    Or are they financially separated?

Actually I seem to remember reading that you can have 50K savings with both banks and be covered (I mean protected) for both...so there must be some serparation?

So I guess this increases the chance of a Llloyds dividend this October. One can only hope.
