Unrecorded Enquires on Experian

Hi Guys


having opted for the creditexpert free trial and checked my experian credit file - there are 3 seperate unrecorded searched from EGG Banking PLC

I have not applied to them for anything?

The searches were carried out on 3 seperate dates in July?

The only thing I can think of is that I recently applied for a Citibank account - these are listed as application searches and i am wondering if they automatically do group searches unrecorded under the EGG name?

Has anyone else had this?

Am i right in thinking as these unrecorded searches have no impact on a credit score anyway? so could be ignored

Both organisations share the same address for data protection issues, according to their respective privacy statements, so my guess is that it's as you say...

And, yes, unrecorded enquiry searches are nothing to worry about (so long as you know why you had them of course!).

A quick call to either institution should clarify.
