Job apllication form help

Im in the middle of filling out an application form for a duty manager role. The application form is to get me on to the training for a duty manager and then hopefully a duty manager job.

Anyway there is a question asking about areas for development. I was thinking about putting developing managerial experience - do you think this is ok?

Just need some advice on what you would put

Thanks

It doesn't really sound specific enough if that's all you're planning to put. Do you have the job spec for the duty managers job - that might give you some ideas for more specific areas relevant to you.
(Duty manager in what, by the way?)
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I'd advise finding more out about the job role before you fill in the form. I don't know anything about retail. but off the top of my head would you have to deal with stroppy customers, what are your people skills like, is there admin type stuff you have to do, have you supervised staff before and do you have existing skills you can work on, or would it all be new to you? Whether any of these apply would make a difference to what you put down.
I'm guessing they're wanting you to show that you've given some thought to what you can already do, and the bits where you know you definitely need to learn more that is relevant to the training they are offering.
Good luck, maybe someone else with more knowledge of the area will be along soon.
