canaries in october

hi im going to the canaries for a week in at the start of october with my mother shes 65 just retired and im 39 could anyone advise me of a good hotel that would be worth staying in alpharooms has 15 pages of hotels for tenerife alone so its daunting going through all of them also is it better sc/hb or ai thanks for any reply john

Try using the filters on various sites search options.

For example, Alpharooms lets you filter by board type and region using the drop down boxes. This will just help to put the results into bite size pieces for you.

Regarding the board type, it depends on how mobile your mother is. If she doesn't mind walking and is fairly mobile then you may be ok with a SC/B&B option and go out for meals in the evenings or do some shopping yourself. However, if she struggles to get about and just wants to relax, then a HB/AI option may be best so you don't need to move much.
