Local Employment Partnership
It is something to do with sharing information about new starts between the jobcentre and the employers.0 -
LEP companies get help to pay the wages of the people the jobcentre send.Total scam which gets abused by many companies.0

How does it get abused? I've applied for a few of these, so am nervous now!0

Google Local Employment Partnership.
Done this and found this http://www.dwp.gov.uk/about-dwp/working-for-dwp/how-to-apply/recruitment-standards/local-employment-partnership/
But doesn't really explain it for the Job seeker.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

From what I understand an organisation that signs up for a local employment partnership must agree not to discriminate against Jobcentre Plus customers when recruiting. In other words these organisations have agreed not to discriminate against unemployed candidates when recruiting.0

The idea behind LEP vacancies is that they (employers) have been made fully aware of all the help and subsidies that come with employing long-term unemployed people, and they agree to give these people a fair crack of the whip in terms of interviews, etc.Fokking Fokk!0 -
