Help about an ebay problem needced

I am new to ebay I have only used it since January this year and I have only bought things.I have bought about 15 items and each transaction had gone very smoothly, no trouble at all. I have 100% positive feedback and have given 100% positve feedback because I had really good service. Everything I have bought arrived within a couple of days, about as fast as anyone could expect.

On 24th March I bought an ebook, it was only £1.99 and I have not yet received it. I have had communication with the seller, I get a flurry of emails. maybe 6 at a time and then nothing for a week or so. The last email from the seller was on 13th April which I replied to but have not yet had a reply. The seller has told me several time that they have emailed the ebook but I have not receveid it. They have asked me lots of questions and told me things to do, I was asked to disable my norton virus thing which I did and it still has not arrived.

On 13th April they sent an email saying they had sent 3 emails and had I received them but I hadn't and sent an email to say so and I have heard nothing since. Each bunch of emails from seller starts with sorry about the delay but we have been away. Sometimes they send me an email and say can I open the atachment but there isn't an attachment. I may not be an expert on computer things but I do manage and I do receive work related emails with attachment several times a day with no problem. I feel like the seller has been from the beginning telling me off and being a bit patronising but if I have not received it I haven't and there is nothing I can do. I have bought and received other ebooks with not trouble at all

I have now got rather bored with the whole thing, would it be reasonable to ask for my money back and to forget the whole thing?

I would be grateful for any advice
Loretta

I would do a chargeback if you paid via paypal if not then i would ask for a refund.

Have you checked your junk folder? What ebook was it? Many of them are freely available on the net for nothing.

Emails they send should be visable in your ebay message account, so there's no reason you wouldn't see them. I'd do a charge back if you paid by paypal, or request a refund too. An ebook should be with you very quickly after you've paid.
    Good luck

Yes I did pay by Paypal and when I have bought other ebooks by the time I have come off ebay and looked at my emails it is already there, I was sure it is not me!

This has been nearly a month now and I know now that I can find all this information for free. As I am new to ebay I did not know the right thing to do, and I did want to get it right.

The seller was trying to make out that the problem was with me and seemed to be a bit impatient and I just wanted to make sure I was being reasonable.

    Thanks for all your help
