Not paid First plus loan and they haven't noticed
We should have paid £500 to first plus loans on 1st July, we cancelled out DD with them as our house sale should have gone through on the same day and were advised to do do. Since then we have heard nothing from them about missing this payment - is this normal? It has been 4 weeks now

Why on Earth did you cancel the DD??
You are actively trashing your credit file. Without doubt they will catch up with you, and pile on the subsequent late payment charges.0 -
Not worried about credit file have emigrated to Aus and am never coming back to live in UK. Loan will be paid off in full in 10 days anyway, just thought it wa strange they had not contacted us0

They will notice and when they do you will be charged for breaching the terms and conditions of your loan plus they may register a default against your credit rating.
Best call them now and pay over the phone if you can and explain the reason why you cancelled your first payment.0
