Which loan?

Hi all

I am looking for a loan, for £4000

Natwest turned me down because I needed to have an income of £550+ a month.

All the other major banks will also turn me down

I have an income of £400 a month.

So my question is, are there any places that will give me the £4000 loan with a monthly income of £400?

Thanks

    Hi Will,

I read your previous post and I think the advice still stands. You are not likely to get a loan on that income to the amounts you want.

The main question is how much of that income is disposable i.e. after a phone bill etc??

I suggest you look at the comments made and figure out a way of getting a cheaper car so that you don't have to even think about £4000.

    £350

But I should be getting more hours in next few months

All I want is some links to company which might give me the loan.

I have heard all the adivce

I think only 1 person has told me to get the loan

Maybe I will struggle, maybe I wont. but I will learn from my mistakes

Well I guess run a comparison checker is the best way to go and make sure you select poor credit rating as you will get the lowest rate returned otherwise and they will not be relevant to you.

I cant recommend any particular company to be honest as I have not used them and would not use them.

I wish you luck and hope that you don't live to regret this decision.

Where can I find a comparison checker?

What do you think about UCC Loans

You must be aged 18 to 65 green-tick.png You must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years
green-tick.png You must have a minimum annual income of £5,000
green-tick.png You must have no more than £500 of County Court Judgements or defaults registered against you within the last 12 months and no more than £2,500 in the last 36 months

Thats all good for me ^^

    moneysupermarket and other like it.

Cant comment on the UCC thing, their rate is very hi but I have no experience with them.

Not sure if it is possible- maybe your current bank if you have a good history with them but some advice might be not to get a loan where you bank.

I think probably the sites like money supermarket would be best but please remember that these are only an estimate of the rates and repayments and you will only get an accurate rate/repayment when you apply for a loan.

I wouldn't recommend getting a loan, its so depressing knowing you owe the banks so much money.

But then, it is your decision, just maybe consider what you would do if your income was £0- what would you do to make the repayments?

A lot of the people on here have experienced getting into debt to get the things they "want" without having to wait and save and have had the debt hanging over them for many years. The advice you are being given may be from people who, given the chance, would turn the clock back and not take the debt on.
Have a look over at the debt free wannabe board, all these people could afford the debt when they first took it on but it escalates.
