Hi there, hoping for a little advice and maybe re-assurance on this.
Applied for a natwest loan on Wednesday. Got agreement in principle and signed and sent paperwork back on Saturday. Reason beign for a used car!
Just getting a bit nervous (suffer from slight anxiety) about what if they decline, etc even though it wont have any effect on my life and still have a car i can use, etc.
I have had a loan with them for uni previously over 2 years and finish paid it off in feb/march this year and never missed payment.
Other info:
Age 22
Male
Income after tax & private health £1060pm
Current commitments:
3 credit cards using 1200 out of 1500 available. Min payment £50 pm (i pay £150 pm at present)
Next account £280 min pay: £25pm (i pay £50 pm)
Hire purchase for 2800 early settlement (going to use loan to pay off then sell & use to buy new car with funds on top - my car has been a pian in the uh-hum) (£87 pm)
Apple finance for £543.70 (£27 per month)
Phone contract (£25pm max)
Rarely late payment (1 last year but doesnt appear on credit file)
Never miss payment
Started in last 5/6 months to pay much more than min payment.
No rent/mortgage as live with parents
Banked with Natwest for apx 6-8 years
Been with current employer 1yr 3months
Current Address for 8 years 11 months
- I presume the fact i only sent the paperwork back Saturday they havent looked at it yet but anybody else had experience in how long once sent back it takes to get money in acct. (cant remember when did it before)
- Given the above info (let me know if anymore needed) surely my chances are pretty good. They havent asked for any additional info or proof of pay, etc.
Obviously im just keen to get my car on market but dont want to until have money and paid finance off, etc to make sure i do it legal and by the book!
Thanks for any advice
