OK, after my brother trashed my PC i am having problems getting data over to my new system. Here goes:

I have taken my old hard drive and using a caddy i can access it. What i want to do is transfer all my email addresses and saved emails/folders to my new pc and migrate it into my new email client; Office 2007.

However, i have tried:

a. import/export command and it does not add them.

b. Dragging them into my new email, all i get is folders named .dbx, which
my client does not recognise/will not open.

c. Added a folder to Documents and added all the dbx to it, import, still
doesn't work!!

Lastly on my old harddrive, where can i find a list of my old contacts/email addresses? I THINK i have found the email folder, but i cannot see any addresses!!!

Thanks in advance for any assistance offered!!!
