    Festival Fashion Competition - Terms and Conditions (UK and RoI)

    1. Enter TK Maxx’s “Festival Fashion Competition” between 22 July and 4th September 2009 (inclusive) to win one of five TK Maxx Gift Cards worth £50 each.
    2. In order to enter, you need to describe your festival fashion essential in no more than 25 words. All entries must be received by midnight on 3rd September 2009. TK Maxx accepts no liability for lost, delayed, or incomplete entries. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
    3. This competition is open to all residents aged 18 and over in the UK or in the Republic of Ireland, except employees of TK Maxx and its group companies, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion
    4. This competition is restricted to one entry per person per week
    5. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable.
    6. The winner will be drawn at random by an independent adjudicator on a weekly basis. The final winner will be notified on 4th September 2009. The winner will be notified by email and the name and county of the winner may be made generally available on TK Maxx’s website.
    7. The promoter reserves the right at any time to cancel or modify the competition without prior notice, if in its discretion, the competition is not capable of being conducted as planned.
    8. By entering the promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. Please note that it is a condition of winning the prize that the entrant may have to take part in our publicity about the competition – this may include having his/her photo taken and this photo being featured on our web site.
    9. All entrants have accepted TK Maxx’s privacy policy, and consent to their data being used in the ways set out therein. In particular, please note that TK Maxx may use entrants’ details to send them marketing about its latest great offers and new products that they might be interested in. TK Maxx will always provide a way to opt out of receiving this marketing. If you do not wish to receive this marketing then please tick the appropriate box at the time of registration.
    10. Any breach of these terms and conditions by an entrant will void their entry. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will also be void.
    11. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Please print out and retain a copy of these terms and conditions for your future reference.

    I've emailed them to ask...it doesnt even let me submit, it just keeps saying Postcode not valid or something like that.

    Will update when i hear back. Just got this today in an email from them.

    I just tried signing up for hot alerts and got the same post code issue - tried three separate addresses too! All post code not recognised...

    Didn't like my postcode either.
    Every comp this site runs seems almost impossible to enter smoothly, :(

    (End date 24/08 in the email I received BTW!)

    I concur . It does not work in Firefox 3.5.1 but works fine in Internet Explorer.
    Try Internet Explorer instead.

    If you have, however, deleted all your Internet Explorer shortcuts after installing Firefox, click on Start > Run and paste the following line into it, and then press enter:
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
