What's a good way to layout my page? should I phrase it in a certain way? etc.

This thread should give you some ideas of what NOT to do!

Perhaps you would get a better response if you gave a bit more information or asked for more specific advise. What do you want, everyone else to do the work for you?
Perhaps a link to an item you have sold, or are currently selling might get some help.I love surprises!0 -

Look at identical and similar items to yours which sold for significantly more and try to work out why they were more successful than yours.
More details would be helpful.
How do you normally write a listing?
Loads of info / colour/ font sizes etc? Like this:

Just had another thought, is there anything in your feedback that might be putting people off? A lot of people do check a seller's feedback.0

I love the bit where a powerseller says "small sellers like me" OP, sorry, can't really help- there is no definitive answer.DoWhatULove-LoveWhatUDo wrote: »Loads of info / colour/ font sizes etc? Like this:

This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I think the summer is the hardest time to sell on e-bay, i find it picks up in september-october.
In my listings, i describe my item not using too much information but enough for the seller to know the condition, size, what the items for etc.., I try and take as many photo's as i can to show any damage or detail of the item.
I have 100% feedback so i always state in my listing ' please see my great feedback from other items i have sold' and i also ask seller to view my other listings as i offer combined postage.
All my items are offered world wide as i find 75% of my customers are from the EU.
Keep postage low, weigh your items and use the royal mail web site to get a postage quote, use light weight packaging and re-use packaging to keep your postage prices low.
Make sure your listings end in the evening (as e-bay is busy in the evenings), don't end listings on a bank holiday, i find sunday evenings are the best nights to end things on.
Make your listings stand out by using capital letters and **** where ever you can.0 -

Missed that bit the first time. It was more the wordiness and colour I was going for, but I guess "small" is a relative term.
What do you have to sell to be a power seller these days anyway?0 -
One of them has sold...

300 items or £2,250 over three months for the lowest level. We're stuck between bronze and silver at the moDoWhatULove-LoveWhatUDo wrote: »Missed that bit the first time. It was more the wordiness and colour I was going for, but I guess "small" is a relative term.
