I approached HSBC (my bank) for a loan yesterday but they turned me down on the grounds that I have already refinanced a couple of loans with them earlier this year. My credit history is not excellent(couple of missed payments about 4 years ago) but it's good enough, I suppose, since I've not been turned down, yet.
I'm thinking about applying for a loan with another lender, but there are so many options out there! I'm thinking about Tesco as a good choice but Im not sure if they will grant me the loan.
I was wondering if there are any recommendations from anyone on this site for a lender who will loan me close to 8k and whose credit scoring system isn't too rigid....the nature of my job requires me to move almost every year, so I don't have a history of being at the same address over the last 5 years.

Any thoughts, suggestions would be REALLY appreciated since I'm in a bit of a squeeze and need to urgently get the money.
