How is you being self-employed relevant?0

like all other things you are not covered if you loose your job0

Are you sure it was life assurance and not some form of payment protection?0

it does state barclays life assurance co ltd and that it was my life assured0

if you die you die. Self employment or employment doesnt matter. How do you think self employed would insure themselves for life assurance if they were not included?it does state barclays life assurance co ltd and that it was my life assured
Seems quite sensible to have your life assured if you were paying the monthly mortgage payments on his behalf.could i possibly put a claim in for a miss sold policy?

So you paid for life cover at £47 per month for seven years?
Were you a guarantor on your sons mortgage?
A term of 7 years for a mortgage seems unusually small...I am a Financial Adviser specialising in Mortgages, Protection, Health and Medical Insurance. I also write wills. All information posted on this site is for discussion only, and should not be taken as advice.0 -

What a charmless individual. People are trying to assist you and you respond bluntly like that.
I'll end my input here as you clearly lack manners and gratitude.0 -
