i am starting a course in october and dont know where to start with the finance

    You will get more help on the Student board, but OU has a finance page where you can DL the forms and apply. There is also a tool which shows you what you are likely to be entitled to get help with depending on your household income etc. Just search on finance/funding on the OU website.
